Check your health insurance policy. Typical coverage is 50-80% of the bill, leaving you to pay $350-$900 for one transport. If you haven't met your deductible yet, or if you have no insurance, you may have to pay the full amount, typically around $1800 in our area. And if your insurance company denies coverage - FireMed still covers you.
